About the Incurable Disease - Autos
My passion for Rolls & Bentleys began from a very early age. I grew up travelling to "trips" and "runs" in the back of my dad's 1924 3 litre Bentley Tourer. As a young boy, I hated the cold drafts which blew under the tonneau cover. My brothers always used to get the better end of the blankets.
As time went on I became curious about the workings of the cars and eventually bought my first Bentley when I was 16 years old. My new purchase was a 1948 MK VI rolling chassis - fantastic! I sold the chassis to a Bentley Drivers Club member, who turned it into a special, I was hooked! It was nearly 25 years later that I was eventually able to buy my own 3/4 ½ 1928 Tourer. I think I have now finally found a car that has tamed me, I will never play the field again, she is mine to keep forever.
I will always be passionate about autos and love to hear stories told by my father and his enthusisatic friends (not sure they always have the details quite correct after a few beers!) they are never short of a new tale to tell.
"You only live once, make sure you enjoy it" I love this quote and agree with it whole heartedly. Never deny yourself, if it is within your reach.
Kindest regards,

I was searching for a name which summed up my life long hobby/work. This name was lying dormant at Register House so I purchased it for
£186.00. I can think of nothing better than calling my company:-
Bentley Motors (1931) Ltd
